LYNUM-Progressive Industries is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to support its growth in the Prairie market from our Saskatoon, SK office and warehouse.
In this role, you will be responsible for helping our customers, suppliers, and outside Technical Sales Representatives by ensuring orders and product questions are processed quickly. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, dependable, and able to multitask.
As an Inside/Customer Service representative you will be the front line of service for our customers and suppliers.
You will be responsible for managing requests via e-mail, telephone and MS Teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Support of outside Technical Sales Representatives, preparing and recording quotes and proposals.
● Processing orders in a timely manner
● Preparing and processing supplier purchase orders.
● Arrange shipping and expediting orders.
● Follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction.
● Become proficient in LYNUM-Progressive’s products and services, industry jargon, and be able to use this knowledge to resolve customer questions.
● Remain professional and polite, even when faced with challenging situations and customers.
Required Experience/Skills
● Advanced communication skills both verbal and written.
● Advanced organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
● A customer-first mindset.
● Strong MS office Skills (Word, Excel Outlook, and PowerPoint applications)
● Minimum two years inside sales/customer service experience.
Nice-to-Haves
● Mining & Aggregate background, or industrial experience an asset.
● Familiarity with CRM software, specifically Salesforce.
● Experience with shipping & receiving, inventory control, and warehouse functions.
Pay & Benefits Summary
● Salary based on experience - $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per annum.
● Benefits include Life, Long Term Disability, dental and extended medical.
● 3 weeks annual vacation.
